New york: The main indices on the US Wall Street stock exchange opened lower on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.4 points to 44,922.7 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the S and P 500 dropped 4.7 points, or 0.07 percent, to 6,406.62 points, while Nasdaq Composite lost 45.3 points, or 0.21 percent, to 21,269.667 points.
