According to Qatar News Agency, the S and P 500 index rose by 0.21 percent to close at 6,495.15 points. The Nasdaq Composite index increased by 0.45 percent, reaching 21,798.70 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed by 0.25 percent to register 45,514.95 points.
