Doha: HE President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Doha on Tuesday to offer condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. His visit underscores the diplomatic ties between Uzbekistan and Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani. Also present was HE Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Qatar Ashraf Khodjaev, highlighting the significance of the visit and the respect held for HH the Father Amir.

President Mirziyoyev's visit marks a moment of solidarity and respect between the two nations, reflecting the deep-rooted relations shared by Uzbekistan and Qatar.
