Doha: Vietnam's National Assembly Elected To Lam as State President for the 2026-2031 term, Tuesday. Receiving a unanimous vote, the General Secretary of the ruling Vietnam Communist Party became the first official to hold both posts simultaneously.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Assembly also voted for Le Minh Hung as Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
