Voting for 2024-25 QFA Best Awards Nominations Starts

Doha: The Board of Trustees of Qatar Football Association (QFA) Awards announced the start of voting process for nominations for the Best Awards for 2024-2025 season.

According to Qatar News Agency, this announcement was made at a meeting held to discuss final preparations for the QFA Awards ceremony. The Board approved the launch of the official nomination process for the voting-based awards of Best Player, Best Coach, Best Under-23 Player, and Best Goalkeeper, the latter being an award added for the first time this season.

Nomination forms, along with lists of indicative statistics, were sent out to the Ooredoo Stars League club coaches, Football Heads of Ooredoo Stars League club companies, Qatar national team coach, Qatar U-23 coach, host broadcaster and media representatives, QFA representative, QSL representative, President and Board Members of QFA Awards Board of Trustees, Aspire Zone Foundation, and Qatar Players Association.

It may be noted that the Mansour Muftah Award for Top Scorer was won by Al Rayyan's Roger Guedes, who scored 21 goals in the Ooredoo Stars League. Applications for the voting-based awards will be received by Tuesday, May 13, 2025, for the screening process and approval of the final list of candidates and winners.

Regarding the other awards that are not subject to voting, namely the Football for All Award, Best Referees Award, and Best Stand Award, which was added this season, the winners will be announced simultaneously along with the final awards at the QFA Awards Ceremony on May 26, 2025.
