The major stock indexes on Wall Street closed mixed at the end of today's trading session. The S and P 500 slipped by 2.78 points, or 0.05 percent, ending the session at 5,851.20 points. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged down by 6.71 points, or 0.02 percent, closing at 42,924.89 points. In contrast, the Nasdaq Composite gained 33.12 points, or 0.18 percent, to finish trading at 18,573.13 points. Source: Qatar News Agency
