WhatsApp Channels Launched in New Countries, including two Arab Countries

Meta-owned messaging WhatsApp has recently shared an announcement on Twitter stating that channels are now available in additional countries: Egypt, Chile, Malaysia, Morocco, Ukraine, Kenya, and Peru.

These channels are available on WhatsApp for iOS, Android and Desktop apps, it said.

This feature is similar to the channels in Telegram, when you subscribe to a channel in that application, such as the channels of news organizations, information begins to flow to users.

This service has a new feature where it can be searched for and subscribed to quickly without the need for an invitation or clicking on a link, and the channel allows you to control who can receive private messages.

WhatsApp Channels service was initially launched in Singapore and Colombia.
