The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that there are almost no health services left in the northern Gaza Strip, as Israel continues to prevent relief missions from reaching the area. In a post on the X platform tonight, Ghebreyesus indicated that Israel had prevented two World Health Organization missions from reaching northern Gaza again. He called on Israel to stop the forced displacement orders and not to attack hospitals, adding: "There is almost no health service left in northern Gaza, people have nowhere to go." He called on Israel to "facilitate humanitarian aid missions, because lives depend on them." He added: "We call on Israel to work towards a ceasefire. All those caught up in this conflict need peace." In a joint statement, 18 international relief organizations, including British, French, American and Swiss organizations, warned that the increasing tension in northern Gaza would lead to a humanitarian disaster. The organizations stated that Israel's displacement of Palestinians in northern Gaza would worsen the humanitarian situation and hinder relief operations. Source: Maan News Agency
