Al Khor: The youth centers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth organized the 'We Are All Responsible' initiative in Al Khor and Al Dhakhira, in collaboration with several government entities. Featuring an awareness-raising campaign for male and female school students nationwide, the initiative primarily intends to promote the ethos of national values and societal responsibility.
According to Qatar News Agency, the event included interactive activities that highlighted the importance of societal action and identified the key objectives of this initiative, as well as its themes to further draw students to youth centers and corporations. Head of the Youth Centers and Youth Organizations Section, Mubarak Jaithen Al Dosari, underlined that the Ministry of Sports and Youth believes in the fact that real investment starts with humans, with young individuals constituting a significant asset to the nation's future.
This initiative has been launched to offer the opportunities for young people to be real partners in serving society, where ideas have been converted into action, and the desire for volunteerism has been shifted to practical steps on the ground, something that is permanently cherished, highlighted Al Dosari. He asserted that the initiative is a role model for operationalizing the role of youth establishments and strengthening the youth's profound connections with their national identity and the issues facing their communities.
Al Dosari indicated that work is underway to make these events a launch pad towards broader initiatives that invest in energy and build a conscious generation capable of surmounting challenges and making a difference. As part of the preparation stages, the organizing team underwent a series of intensive training workshops, in pursuit of imbuing 85 young men and women with leadership, planning, and community initiative implementation skills.
The training included both theoretical and practical components, within the framework of advancing young talented people capable of leading teams and organizing activities effectively. For his part, Chairman of Al Dhakhira Youth Center Hamed Hassan Al Mohannadi stated that the initiative comprised a series of field and awareness-raising activities, starting from field trips to schools and holding training sessions, in addition to effectively engaging in activities of accomplishing societal works.
The event broke the record in terms of participation from Al Dhakhira people, in an apparent indication of the profound awareness and the community's consciousness and desire to actively contribute to the development path, Al Mohannadi pointed out. The initiative's fieldwork drew effective participation from 285 young people from both genders, who were distributed to 14 sites in Al Khor and Al Dhakhira.
