Manama, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, participated in an event hosted by Rotary Club Manama. Renuka Nambiar, President of Rotary Club Manama, was present. The minister emphasised the importance of empowering youth through innovative programmes and highlighted their important role in the development of the Kingdom. Tawfiqi noted that the ministry's youth empowerment strategy is built upon two key elements, which include a talent development methodology for identifying, refining, and showcasing youth talents, and the 5+1 Pillars of Youth Work. The strategy aims to create a comprehensive framework that empowers young individuals to contribute to the Kingdom's advancement, she added. The ministry also launched several initiatives to identify and nurture youth talents, which include the King Hamad Youth Empowerment Award to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, the Nasser Bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award, the National Project Lamae, the Masarari "My Path" Project, an d the Documentary Film Programme. For her part, Nambiar thanked the minister for her effort in supporting the Bahraini youth, affirming the club's commitment to supporting the ministry's initiatives and strategies aimed at young people.
