Manama, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Alastair Long, British Ambassador to Bahrain, and the winning students in the Ambassador for a Day competition, launched by the British Embassy. Minister Tawfiqi highlighted the strong Bahraini-British relations and cooperation. The minister congratulated the winners of the competition; Al Hanouf Mohamed Sahwan, Joud Al Awadhi, and Zaina Fayyaz. She added that the ministry supports all programmes that develop girls' skills and empower them in various fields, expressing her appreciation to the ambassador and the embassy organising this distinguished competition. For his part, the ambassador expressed his interest to enhance cooperation between the two kingdoms, particularly in the youth sector.
