Egypt's Zamalek clinched their fifth African Super Cup title after defeating their local rivals Al Ahly 4-3 in a penalty shootout on Friday at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Al Ahly took the lead in the first half with a penalty goal by Palestinian player Wissam Abu Ali in the 44th minute. Zamalek leveled the score in the second half with a goal from Nasser Mansi in the 77th minute, forcing the match into a penalty shootout, where Zamalek emerged victorious with a 4-3 scoreline.
