Baghdad, An earthquake 4.0 magnitude on Richter scale hit Diyala Governorate, northeast Iraq, on Tuesday. The Iraqi Ministry of Transport said in statement that the Seismic observatories at the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring recorded an earthquake at dawn today in Diyala Governorate, northeast Iraq. The statement added that the earthquake was 34 km southeast of Mandali town in Diyala Governorate. There were no reports of casualties or material damage so far. Source: Qatar News Agency
