Ahmed Abul Gheit, the Arab League Secretary General, reiterated the pan-Arab body's support of Somalia in the face of any pressures or challenges threatening its sovereignty and the integrity of its territories. He also expressed support for all efforts of the federal government in activating national dialogue to materialize the aspirations of the Somali people, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. Abul Gheit made the remarks during a meeting with Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, the Somali Foreign Minister, during his stopover in Cairo on Saturday.
