Manama, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) attended the naval drill, Dawn of Storms 28, which kicked off today. The military exercise is conducted by the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) with the participation of units and branches of the BDF, the National Guard and the Interior Ministry. The BDF Chief of Staff conveyed the greetings of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief to the organisers and participants. He also convayed the Commander-in-Chief best wishes to all participants in the exercise. In his opening remarks , Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi emphasised that the Dawn of Storms exercise is one of the most important exercises carried out by the BDF, which contributes to refining the military capabilities and raising the efficiency of the participants. He added that the exercise also aims to enhance the participants' skills through implementing maritime tactical operations throughout various stages of the exercise, holding specialised training programs and using the latest naval technologies.
