Death toll from Israeli artillery bombardment on the eastern areas of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip has risen to 40 people and dozens of injuries, coinciding with forced displacement amid catastrophic human conditions Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted medical sources as saying that the Nasser Medical Complex said that it received hundreds of bodies and wounded within 3 hours, as a result of the ongoing airstrikes on the east of the city. The sources said that shortage in medical supplies poses a serious threat to the lives of the sick and injured in light of the ongoing massacres carried out by the occupation forces against innocent people and civilians. The Complex appealed in a statement to civilians to "urgently" donate blood for the benefit of the wounded and sick individuals due to the severe shortage of blood units inside the complex. About a week ago, the occupation army committed a massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, which it claimed was safe, resulting in the killing of at least 90 civilian s and the injury of 300 others, in a series of airstrikes that targeted tents of displaced people. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October last year has so far resulted in 39,006 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 89,818 others injured. Thousands more are feared trapped under the rubble and in streets, inaccessible to rescue. Source: Qatar News Agency
