Manama, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, today chaired the Institute for Public Administration board of directors meeting. The board approved the Institute's strategic plan for the years (2024-2028), which focuses on improving the effectiveness of services, contributing to achieving a thriving economy, and supporting knowledge and creativity. The Board also agreed that the Institute, in coordination with the Civil Service Bereau, will launch a programme aimed at familiarising newly recruited employees to the civil service system with their rights and job duties, and their role in their workplaces to achieve the goals and priorities of the Government Plan. The Board of Directors reviewed statistics related to the procedures for finalising the accreditation of new nationally qualified trainers. The board also learnt that the total number of trainees during the first and second quarters of the current year reached 1,078 trainees in the public and private sectors, in addition to individuals in the various training programmes and courses offered by the institute.
