In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he said that he spoke with HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani over the phone about the situation in the Gaza Strip. He wrote: "I expressed my strong support for the key role Qatar is playing in the efforts to help resolve this horrific conflict.
