Moscow, The Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Bashar al-Jaafari, underlined on Tuesday the necessity of developing effective multilateral tools for combating terrorism, indicating that the best way to deal with this type of collective threat is to activate international mechanisms. 'Today, Syria voiced profound solidarity with the Russian President, government and people regarding the heinous terrorist attack', al-Jaafari wrote in the record of condolences that was opened in the Russian Foreign Ministry in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred at Crocus City Hall on Friday evening. Ambassador al-Jaafari attached great importance to establishing serious, credible and multilateral tools to fight terrorism, as it has been proven that the existing mechanisms are ineffective, thus the World needs serious and reliable collective action for that.
