Cairo,Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, and US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, have rejected any Israeli military operation in Rafah city especially as such an operation will threaten the security and stability of the region. This came in a phone call between the two top diplomats to discuss the latest Gaza developments and its regional consequences, Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted Egypt's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid as saying. They also tackled efforts exerted to reach ceasefire as well as increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza. Shoukry reiterated Egypt's rejection of attempts aiming at forcibly displacing Palestinians out of their lands as this will liquidate the Palestinian cause and violate international law, MENA added.
