Manama, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with Fuad Hussein, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Iraq, who is in Bahrain to participate in the Arab Foreign Minister's preparatory meeting of the 33rd Arab Summit. The meeting discussed the strong relations between Bahrain and Iraq, as well as means of enhancing cooperation across various domains. They also exchanged views on the agenda of the Arab Summit, and discussed regional developments and their implications on regional security and stability. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Ahmed Al Mansour, Bahrain's Ambassador to Iraq; Ambassador Ahmed Al Tarifi, Chief of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and the accompanying delegation of the Minister.
