New York, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Odongo Jeje Abubakher, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, they reviewed the existing relations between Bahrain and Uganda and their development in various domains. They discussed ways to enhance these relations to serve their mutual interests. The two sides exchanged views on regional and international matters, present challenges threatening international security and peace and regional stability, the war in the Gaza Strip, and the humanitarian situation and areas of coordination and cooperation in international forums. Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Rowaiei, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Director General of Bilateral Relation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
