Amman, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, the Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and United Nations at the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office , on the sidelines of Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza Conference. The two sides reviewed the strong historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, and means to further enhance them in various domains. They also discussed the latest security, humanitarian, and political developments in the Gaza Strip and the Arab and international efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire, deliver humanitarian aid, and protect civilians, in addition to advancing peace efforts in the region.
