New York, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ministerial coordination meeting, held at Qatar's UN mission headquarters in New York, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar and the president of the current GCC ministerial session, and attended by GCC foreign ministers and Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC. The meeting addressed matters on the UN General Assembly's agenda, upcoming discussions between the GCC and partner countries, and means to enhance coordination and unify positions on key international and global matters.
