Damascus, Four Syrian teams qualified for the International Collegiate Programming Contest, that obtained advanced places in the regional final of the 2024 Programming Competition for University Colleges in the Arab World and Africa. The Programming Contest was organized last week by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in the Egyptian city of Luxor, with the participation of 137 teams from more than From 73 universities. Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in its statement that, the qualified Syrian teams represent the universities of Damascus and Tishreen, the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, and the Syrian Virtual University, with one team from each university.
