Gaza - Ma'an - Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, called on mediators in Egypt and Qatar to do what is necessary with the US administration and others to stop the Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip. This demand comes in a series of contacts that Haniyeh made with mediators and some regional countries in light of the brutal massacres committed by the occupation army in the Mawasi area of ??Khan Yunis and the Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. Haniyeh pointed out that the movement responded positively to the latest proposal with the aim of reaching an agreement to stop the aggression against our people, stressing that the Israeli position taken by Netanyahu led to placing obstacles that prevent reaching an agreement. In a related context, two Egyptian security sources said today, Saturday, that the ceasefire talks in Gaza had stopped after intensive negotiations over the course of 3 days that did not lead to a workable result, indicating that Israel has no real intention to reach an a greement. Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli army committed a massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, killing 90 Palestinians and wounding 300 others, including serious cases, according to a tally by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
