Manama, Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary General, met with a delegation from George Washington University. Dr. Abdulla Yusuf Al Hawaj, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ahlia University; and Dr. Mansoor Al Aali, President of Ahlia University, attended the meeting. The Secretary-General reaffirmed the council's dedication, under the leadership of Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the HEC's Board of Trustees, to fostering partnerships between local universities and leading international institutions. The delegation reviewed the progress of George Washington University's Master's programme in Engineering Management, hosted at Ahlia University, and discussed plans for its further development.
