Manama, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Cabinet Affairs Ministry and Honorary President of the Good Word Society, received Fathallah Abdel Latif Al Zani, Minister of Youth of Libya, during his visit to Bahrain to participate in the 14th edition of the Shaikh Isa bin Ali Award for Voluntary Work. His Highness praised the strong historical ties between Bahrain and Libya. He commended the minister's efforts in advancing the youth sector and supporting initiatives that align with national aspirations benefiting both countries. The award, organised annually in September by the Good Word Society in cooperation with the Arab Union for Voluntary Work, coincides with the Arab Volunteer Day and aims to encourage innovative volunteer initiatives that address challenges and enhance the role of volunteers.
