Manama, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain, and winners in the Ambassador for a Day competition. The competition was organised by the British embassy in Bahrain for females between the ages of 15 and 18. During the meeting, the minister commended the outcomes of the competition, which aims to equip young women with leadership and management skills. For his part, the ambassador highlighted the historical Bahrain-UK relations and the Kingdom's advancement in various domains. The Ambassador commended the minister's interest in the competition and emphasised its importance in developing diplomatic skills, confidence, and leadership among young Bahraini women.
