Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board, today met with former members of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Economic Development Board at Gudaibiya Palace. The former members include Advisor to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for Economic Affairs, Dr Hassan bin Abdulla Fakhro, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, His Excellency Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Farouk Yousuf Almoayyed, and Fatema Isa Ebrahim. His Royal Highness highlighted Bahraini citizens' efforts across all sectors and their commitment to advancing the Kingdom's comprehensive development. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended Team Bahrain's efforts in serving the Kingdom of Bahrain and furthering its development to meet its wide - ranging goals. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his gratitude to the former board members of the EDB, noting their efforts in furthering EDB's goals during their tenure. T he EDB's former board members expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness's commitment to supporting the Kingdom's national development and workforce. The EDB's former board members also wished the newly appointed members success in performing their duties. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
