The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) today against the displaced persons in dilapidated tents in the area that the occupation had certainly declared "humanitarian" in Mawasi Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, is further evidence that the international silence on Israel's genocide against the Palestinians is encouraging Israel to commit more crimes. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor explained in a press statement that its initial investigations showed that Israeli warplanes dropped three American-made MK-84 bombs on a gathering of displaced persons' tents in the Mawasi Khan Younis area, while they were sleeping, creating three holes several meters deep and in diameter, and burying about 20 tents with the families inside them. The Euro-Med Monitor warned that this massacre comes a month after another bloody massacre was committed by Israel, in which the IOF bombed Al-Tabi'een School that was sheltering displ aced persons in Gaza City, slaughtering more than 100 Palestinian civilians (mostly mothers and children). The human rights monitor stressed that, even if the allegations of the presence of armed factions in the area are true, the use of several bombs with such a severe destructive power and dropping them in an area that is known to be one of the most densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip, while civilians are sleeping, cannot be possibly justified in any way. Today at dawn, the IOF committed a horrific massacre by bombing tents filled with displaced persons in Mawasi Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, slaughtering more than 40 Palestinian civilians, and wounding at least 60 others so far, as the numbers keep rising.
