The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot a young Palestinian man today and arrested 13 others amid clashes with the civilians in several towns of the West Bank. Wafa news agency reported Palestinian Red Crescent as saying that the IOF stormed the city of Qalqilya and shot a young Palestinian man with live bullets, indicating that his condition is moderate. Meanwhile, the IOF arrested eight Palestinian civilians in Qalqilya and five others in Al-Khalil, after having raided and searched their homes. In the same context, the IOF continue to set up their military checkpoints at the entrances to Al-Khalil and its towns, villages and camps, and close several main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks and earthen mounds, which obstructed the passage and movement of Palestinians throughout the governorate. The IOF has escalated, in recent weeks, their raids and incursions into Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), and have also increased the pace o f their arrests of Palestinian activists and youth.
