Death toll from the Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Janata in southern Lebanon last night rose to two, in addition to 18 injured. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli raid targeted a building in the town of Janata in the Tyre district, adding that the victims are civilians and most of them are children and women. Meanwhile, intensive flights of Israeli drones were reported over villages and towns of the Tyre district. Towns and villages in southern Lebanon have been subjected to daily Israeli bombardment since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, resulted in deaths and injuries among civilians. The Israeli assault on southern Lebanon has escalated in recent days, alarming widening attacks to include other areas of the country. Source: Qatar News Agency
