Israeli Occupation Targets Sites in Iran’s Isfahan, Qom Provinces

Tehran: Israeli aircraft targeted sites in the provinces of Isfahan and Qom this evening and clashed with air defenses in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

According to Qatar News Agency, a significant explosion was reported in Isfahan, occurring at the Fordow fuel enrichment plant. Tehran's air defense system reportedly intercepted and destroyed projectiles launched by Israeli forces in the central and southern regions of the city.

The agency also noted that Qom's air defenses successfully repelled an Israeli attack in the Printing and Publishing City area and the Mahmoudabad Industrial City at the beginning of Tehran Road. Eyewitnesses reported seeing smoke rising from three locations due to the explosions, prompting the deployment of firefighting, rescue, and disaster management forces to the area.

The attack comes as the Natanz nuclear facility, located in Isfahan Province, has previously been targeted by Israeli strikes. The large-scale military operation by Israel began this morning, targeting multiple sites within Iranian territory, leading Tehran authorities to vow a strong response.
