Rome: Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reiterated that his country is not at war with Russia, adding that Italy's military supplies to Ukraine are non-lethal. Italy is not at war with Russia, but wants to defend Ukraines right to self-determination, Tajani said in a press conference broadcast by Italian AKI news agency. Italy has always maintained the confidentiality of the quality of military supplies to Ukraine, about which Parliament was informed. There is another package that is almost ready, but Italy's goal has always been to supply non-lethal weapons that work to stop Russian attacks", Tajani added. Russia began a military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it is still continuing without any signs that it is close to ending, in light of the great divergence in the positions of the two sides of the conflict, and the entry of other international parties into the crisis.
