Amman: Foreign Minister of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, met on Monday with Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, who is visiting Jordan, to discuss developments in the region. The meeting also focused on enhancing and developing the cooperation between Jordan and the United Nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Safadi affirmed Jordan's support for the United Nations and international peacekeeping efforts in their areas of deployment, emphasizing their role in maintaining regional and international security and stability.
