Kyiv: The military authorities in northeastern Ukraine announced that Russian troops conducted nearly 60 strikes targeting 33 settlements across 13 territorial communities of the Sumy region in the past 24 hours.

According to Qatar News Agency,most of the attacks were recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts, with Russian forces using artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. A civil infrastructure facility was damaged, alongside houses and the property of several residents, the statement added.

Mikhail Razvozhayev, Governor of Sevastopol, located at the southwestern tip of the Crimean Peninsula, said the Ukrainian military had attempted to attack the city with drones overnight, causing limited material damage. Posting on Telegram, Razvozhayev stated that the air defenses and the Black Sea Fleet shot down four hostile UAVs.

Earlier on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 13 Ukrainian drones launched over various Russian regions overnight.
