Manama, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), received members of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation led by John Bluedorn, Deputy Division Chief in the Regional Analytics and Strategy Division of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the IMF. His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, Nibras Mohammed Talib, CEO of the LMRA, attended the meeting. The delegation was briefed on Bahrain's initiatives in regulating the labour market, which included the development of national labour legislation in line with international standards. They were also briefed on the progress in employment and skill development of national human resources, initiatives for women's advancement, implementation of the National Labour Market Plan.
