HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari met separately in Geneva with HE Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the Eastern Mediterranean Dr. Hanan Hassan Balkhy and HE WHO Director-General's Senior Adviser for Organizational Change Soren Brostrom. Talks during the meetings focused on aspects of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the World Health Organization and ways to enhance them in the field of health, in addition to means to support the global action plan to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals at the international level. The meetings also addressed the key outcomes of the meetings of the Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly and the 150th session of the WHO Executive Board, both of which recently concluded.
