Dar es Salaam:HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani held separate meetings with HE Regional Director for Arab States at the International Labour Organization (ILO) Dr. Ruba Jaradat and HE Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Othman Fouad Belbeisi.

According to Qatar News Agency, these discussions took place during the Second Doha Dialogue on Labour Mobility, which was hosted by Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on October 5-6. The event focused on the theme “From Commitment to Action Advancing Fair and Sustainable Labour Mobility between Africa and GCC+.”

The meetings aimed to explore Qatar’s collaboration with both the ILO and IOM in the labour sector, emphasizing the importance of strengthening these partnerships. Key issues from the Second Doha Dialogue were also discussed, particularly the dialogue’s role in promoting institutional cooperation and ensuring fair and sustainable labour mobility between Africa and GCC+ countries.
