It is a testament to the commitment of Qatars public health sector providers that they are all working together to raise awareness on World Mental Health Day." Globally, mental health issues are increasingly recognized as m ajor contributors to illness and disability. While the workplace can be a source of stress, it can also play a key role in promoting well-being. For those experiencing mental health challenges, the first step towards recovery is often reaching out to a friend or healthcare professional, explained Dr. Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Senior Con sultant of Family Medicine and Executive Director of Operations at PHCC. Dr. Al Abdulla emphasized, "asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength. Chair of the Psychiatry Department at Sidra Medicine Professor Muhammad Waqar Azeem said that "at Sidra Medicine, we believe that mental health is vital to overall well-being, and it is essential for workplaces to take an active role in supporting it.
