Manama, The Education Ministry announced that the suspension of classes in educational institutions, including public and private schools, universities, kindergartens and nursery schools, will continue on Wednesday and Thursday. Students shall return on Sunday. The ministry stated that the decision aims to ensure the readiness of facilities to receive students and to inspect all safety and security measures, following the heavy rainfall experienced by the kingdom. Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma said the safety of the students is a top priority and therefore a comprehensive inspection programme has been put in place in line with the best international practice in operating and regulating educational institutions.
