The Ministry of Interior (MOI) and the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), yesterday, signed a joint cooperation agreement on organizing the electronic link between the two sides. The move aims at achieving accuracy in data, improving the level of services provided to the public, facilitating their procedures and speeding up their completion.
The agreement comes as part of the efforts of MOJ to develop the legal services and upgrade the technical infrastructure of legal departments. Work is currently underway to launch completely electronic real estate registration and documentation services, as well as electronic services for the cases system in the State, the Lawyers Portal, and the geographic information system, as part of MOJ Strategic Plan 2020-2022, which aims at developing and upgrading the Qatari legal system.
