Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, received Nasr Eddin Al Obaid, Director-General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Drylands (ACSAD). Al Mubarak expressed the aspiration to further enhance the coordination between the ministry and the organisation in various domains. He was briefed on ASCAD'S efforts to develop the agricultural and animal wealth sectors in Arab states, as well as its research and studies. In addition to the studies of the centre, benefiting from the kingdom's agricultural expertise. Al Obaid reviewed the various projects implemented by the center in different Arab states, emphasising the centre's readiness to cooperate with the kingdom. He also praised the ministry's support since Bahrain joined ACSAD in 1968, expressed the ministry's readiness to expand the centre's involvement in the kingdom and facilitate projects using modern technologies to educate farmers and breeders in the member states.
