Muscat Stock Exchange Sees Decline as Trading Volume Drops

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) "30" index concluded its session on Sunday at 7,938.66 points, registering a decline of 21 points, or 0.26 percent, from its previous close of 7,959.72 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the total trading value also witnessed a downturn, amounting to OMR 40,812,752. This represents a significant decrease of 21.1 percent compared to the last session's trading value of OMR 51,727,770. The report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange further highlighted a drop in market capitalization, which fell by 0.124 percent from the previous trading day, settling at approximately OMR 37.33 billion.
