HEBRON - Ma'an - Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Beit Ummar, Idhna and Al-Arroub refugee camp, stormed and searched several homes and arrested a young man from Beit Ummar. Media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, reported that the occupation forces raided, at dawn today, the areas of Asida, Al-Daher, and Shaab Al-Seer in Beit Ummar, and stormed several homes, searched them, tampered with their contents, and destroyed their furniture. Awad added, "During this, the young man Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Rashid Sabarna, 22 years old, was arrested and transferred to the Etzion camp, north of Beit Ummar." Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided Al-Arroub camp amidst live ammunition, and stormed several homes, including the home of the deportee Jihad Jaara. The homes were searched and their contents destroyed. The occupation forces also raided the town of Idhna, and citizens reported that the occupation forces fired live bullets and tear gas canisters, which led to a number of citizens suffering from suffocation, and there were no clashes worth mentioning.
