Oil Prices Decrease Amid Middle East Tensions


Hanoi:Oil prices experienced a decline at the close of today’s trading session. This downturn follows a volatile day in the market, influenced by the International Energy Agency’s decision to expedite the release of oil reserves, particularly focusing on diesel, in response to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East which is affecting global supply levels.



According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude futures saw a decrease of USD 0.38, settling at USD 100.20 per barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped by USD 1.16, equivalent to a 1.3 percent decline, closing at USD 88.28 per barrel.
