Hanoi:Middle East Oil prices experienced an increase as ongoing concerns regarding supplies from the critical Middle East region continued, with recent attacks on shipping in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz adding to the tension.
According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude futures saw a rise of $1.33, or 1.33%, reaching $101.53 per barrel by 0116 GMT. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures increased by $1.11, or 1.26%, to $89.39 per barrel.
These developments highlight the persistent supply challenges in the region, which play a significant role in global oil pricing dynamics.
