Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed deep concern over the Israeli occupation's continued military escalation and the war crimes and genocide against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories; warning of consequences of the military operations that the Israeli occupation forces intend to carry out in the city of Rafah. In a statement on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman warned of serious catastrophic effects of storming Rafah which may lead to expanding the scope of conflict and tension in the region. The Ministry called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the war and the ongoing Israeli gross violations of international law and international humanitarian law, and to hold Israel fully responsible for these violations, war crimes, policies of starvation and forced displacement, all of which constitute crimes against humanity.
