Ombudswoman Ghada Hamid Habib met Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri, the Director-General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, and Dr. Arwa Hassan Al Sayed, Chief of the Human Rights Affairs Sector at the Ministry.
The Ombudswoman commended the cooperation between the Ombudsman and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, especially in human rights issues and topics of mutual interest.
The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation during the upcoming period.
Bucheeri and Al Sayed expressed their appreciation for the Ombudsman’s efforts in promoting respect for human rights, which comes in line with the objectives of the National Human Rights Plan (2022-2026).
